The value for money at Studio Van Bakel Gerard was excellent - a quiet, spacious, and well-equipped apartment with comfortable beds and beautiful views. The location was perfect, away from the crowds but still easy to access local amenities. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, even giving us fresh produce from their garden.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from offering a wider variety of options.

I booked this apartment for a couple attending my photography workshop and they were thrilled. The hosts were warm and welcoming, treating them like family. The apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Great views of the castle and the mountains. Easy access to the garden to enjoy the fruits and vegetables. Walking distance to the lake. Very clean and well maintained.

The best thing about this studio was the private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer. It made getting ready in the morning a breeze and added an extra touch of comfort to my stay. Plus, the cable flat-screen TV was a nice bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring.

While everything was great, I personally didn't enjoy one feature - the fact that the studio can accommodate disabled persons. However, I understand that this is my subjective opinion and others might find it beneficial.

Our stay during Christmas was not ideal. The rooms were too hot and stuffy with no air conditioning, and the lack of window nets meant that flies and bees were constantly buzzing in.
